With the Amazon getting way to much rain now it's time to think about South Florida Peacock Bass fishing. Our season is heating up with two guide trips this week boating 44 peacocks up to 5 1/4 lbs. Jim Reed who has fished with us now 4 times got the big one this week. Miami peacock bass fishing is the only place in the continental United States to catch peacock bass. So until the Amazon fishing picks up in August if the water levels are good in the Rio Madeira river, give South Florida peacock bass fishing a try. These butterfly peacock bass get up to 6 or 7 lbs. on a regular basis.
