South Florida Peacock Bass Fishing 5-6-08

Greg Plano and his friend Ken from Miami decided to fish in their own backyard. Living down here for years the guys never had the pleasure of getting out and fishing peacock bass in their hometown. I'm sure this won't be their last time either! The guys boated 15 peacock bass to 3 lbs. in Miami canals in a half-day trip. All of their fish were caught on shiners. Thank you Greg and hopefully I'll see you guys back in the near future.

South Florida Peacock Bass Fishing 5-7-08

Well it's not quite the Amazon monster peacock bass, but it's the next best thing. South Florida Peacock Bass fishing has been stellar lately. Two trips over the last week has produced some beautiful fish. Scott Jungmichael and his buddy Chris from Texas boated 26 peacock bass to 6 lbs. They've been here three times to land their trophy and they both did on this trip! Nice going guys and I'm sure you'll be back next year. Chris I'm posting you all over the internet with this beauty.
