South Florida Fishing 6-12-08

Just a little reminder that South Florida has the best fishing I've ever seen. We were out over on the southwest Florida coast last week to try tarpon fishing for the first time. I know this has nothing to do with amazon peacock bass fishing but I had to share this adventure with my readers. My first tarpon weighed 160 lbs. and took my 45 minutes to land this beast. If you can't make it to the Amazon in Brazil to catch the mighty Peacock Bass I think South Florida can fill in the need to catch BIG FISH! South Florida Peacock Bass

Lowell and I on day two fished snapper creek in a south surburb of Miami. South Florida is full of canals that are loaded with peacock bass and largemouth bass. Over two days of fishing Lowell boated 57 peacock bass up to 5 lbs. and I caught 10? Between trips to the Amazon in Brazil we have no other choice but to catch butterfly peacock bass in South Florida. For more information on Brazil or Florida Peacock Bass fishing check out South Florida Fishing Adventures and our Amazon Peacock Bass Fishing websites.

South Florida Peacock Bass 6-3-08

Fishing in South Florida's Miami area for peacock bass isn't quite the thrill as the Amazon but it's the next best thing. Today Lowell Shapley from Houston, Texas found out how wonderful these great fish can be. The butterfly peacock bass can be only found in South Florida or Brazil. Lowell and I landed 35 peacocks today up to 5 lbs. This beauty was caught on a jig and we also used some live shiners. For booking a fishing trip to Brazil or Miami contact us at these websites
